Versatility
from feature stories to art policies
“As a journalist with more than 25 years of experience with such newspapers as The New York Times, The Globe and Mail and the Vancouver Sun, I have no hesitation in saying that Glenda is one of the most skilled and proficient editors I have worked with. Her recognition that text and graphics must work together to produce a good publication is a rare asset. ”
It might be a magazine feature or a new web site, a press kit or media training, an annual report or a complex document that needs rendering in plain language without “dumbing it down”.
Whatever your communication needs, I effectively deliver the message so your audience understands what you want them to.
I've been working in mainstream media and communications for more than 30 years, editing and writing for a wide range of clients. Topics range from art policies and heritage to science and natural resources as well as business and politics. Favourites include clean energy, cutting-edge art, social justice and the culture of food.
Whatever the project, I'm a stickler for grammar, fact checking and all the fundamentals of clear communication, but I never sacrifice a good story or audience engagement.
